Sixty lucky fans received a personal invite from Andy to spend the afternoon with him at a specially arranged meet n greet to celebrate his 60th birthday. This get together was held upstairs at the Robin 2 venue where Sweet would later play that evening. Andy was presented with a wonderful poster that showed where all the fans had travelled from to get to this unique event. You can read all about Andy’s great day and week here.

Three date tour of The Czech Republic. The first show was a sell out in Prague with a very enthusiastic audience see some footage in the video section. Followed by two outdoor shows with Slade which were also greatly received.

Original Sweet items and other rock memorabilia from Uk artists of every era will be displayed in an interactive museum at the O2 London. The british music experience is an exhibit like no other and a must see when visiting London.

When you think of festivals in the UK, the big ones first spring to mind. Glastonbury, Reading, Donnington. Then there is the Rebellion Festival a little known weekend jaunt that takes place at the beautiful Winter Gardens in Blackpool. The reason you may of not heard of this jewel in the british festival crown is because it is the worlds biggest PUNK Festival and yes The Sweet were invited to play it. The Sweet played the main ballroom complete with sprung floor!, it was very dark with the audience a complete throbbing, pogoing mass! The PA stacks were angled down over the crowd like a 2 big clawing fists. The crowd were rocking from start to finish culminating in a mass mosh pit when the band finished the set with "The Ballroom Blitz". A definite highlight of the year. If you like your festivals you have to go to Rebellion it is one of kind and great time is guaranteed.

Sweet, along with Showaddywaddy and The Rubettes embarked on a 29 date nationwide tour. Affectionately nicknamed “the pipe & slippers tour” as volumes are turned down somewhat and playing in ornate theatres! This was a carbon copy of the successful tour that went out in 2003. Fun was had by all on this tour as everybody mixes well and ends up in the pub together!

Following on from the very successful SFA tour in early spring 2007, it was decided to embark on another tour, cunningly titled, Sweet Fanny Adams Revisited Tour Part 2! This was received even better than the first with audiences in full voice every night. The set again included many tracks from the Sweet Fanny Adams album and of course the hits.

Sweet will perform Wig Wam Bam on RTL’s Ultimate Chart Show and will be returning in April to perform Fox on The Run. You can see the footage in the video section.
